Pulsed MIG Welding Brazing
This is a novel process for brazing welding without the heat of the flame will spoil other boards or accessories near the site of application. This is possible because the process can be implemented in the form down, and the filler metal is a copper compound. The yarns used are CuSi3 and CuAl9. The shielding gas is usually argon.
The big advantage it brings compared to conventional MIG is the difference of heat that brings the piece to be welded, the process being much colder MIG Brazing. Therefore, the deformation of the welded plates is much less significant. The reason is that copper has a melting point lower than the base metals, so that once the copper melts, it penetrates by capillary action in the plates to be welded, causing their union. In the conventional MIG welding, there is also the base metal fusion. It also produces considerable bearing joints shocks and vibrations.
This technology handles Panasonic, with a line type called Inser Robotica, exclusively for mechanized or robotic welding.
In automobile repairs, or other applications, its use is justified by the maintenance of zinc coating on galvanized sheets. It is therefore an arc welding under protective gas in which temperatures reach low enough to avoid removing the zinc coating. Used in both repair and manufacturing, are increasingly builders such as Audi, Citroen, Opel, Seat and Volkswagen, are incorporating widely in their vehicles.
